Well, the hardware I needed to add Apple CarPlay to my ride didn't show up on schedule. In fact, it's STILL out there in transit somewhere. Thanks USPS! So all I was able to do over the weekend was the hacking to add the tweaks. So the in-laws were in town for the past few days. It was pretty good, really. They stayed with us, but that worked better than I expected, and they're pretty decent for in-laws so we mostly enjoyed their company. So, Detroit! It was cold. And pretty dreary, on the whole. Partly due to the cold, I'd planned to go to the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village, both of which sounded right up my alley. When I got there, I discovered that Greenfield Village was closed (seasonal hours, I guess), so I just did the museum. And actually it was a Good Thing ( Read more... )
